Walking down Tillary Street in Brooklyn, I stumbled upon two courts located in the heart of the Ingersoll Houses. Nobody playing but a half-asleep cat and hundreds of pigeons fighting for breadcrumbs. A step into the paint sufficed to trigger the flock to take off and fly towards the sky, creating a poetic perspective on two of the most common things in NYC: pigeons and basketball.
